Introduction to the Sewing  Machine

Fundamental Sewing Machine operation, threading, winding a bobbin, and zigzag stitching will be demonstrated in this 1 hour and 30 minute class so you will be ready to start sewing your favorite things. Bring Machine and Instruction booklet or use a studio machine.   

Class time 1-1½ hours session. Bring machine and Instruction booklet or use a studio machine .

Adventures in Sewing - Simple Tote, or pajama pants.               Great for kids        

 This class is divided into three sessions so we can take the sewing process step by step. In the first session, we will be discussing pattern selection, fabric compatibility and measuring. The second session we will cut out your fabric and sew practice samples using your own machine or the machines that are available in the studio. In the third session, we will assemble the item.

Materials needed: Fabric, pattern and sewing tools list will be given in first session.

Class time:  3 - 2 hour sessions

Cost: $150 plus materials
